Alesia B. Burch, CPA, CGMA
Alesia, the managing partner, co-founded the firm with Karen Crooms, serving the Northeast Georgia area for 30 years. She received her Bachelor degree in Business Administration in Accounting and her Masters degree in Taxation from the University of Georgia. She began her public accounting career working with one of the large international accounting firms in 1983 and was licensed by the State of Georgia as a Certified Public Accountant in 1986.
Alesia has worked extensively with small businesses, their owners, and individual clients -- to help them grow, expand, and develop their businesses and family wealth through tax, estate, and succession planning. She works in all forms of taxation, has specialized training and experience in financial institution audit, internal audit, and tax work, and offers expertise and experience in accounting to serve clients with diversified interests and needs.
Alesia is currently a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (Northeast Georgia Chapter), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Hart County Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club of Hartwell. She is also a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow and Will Watt Fellow. She is a member of Hartwell First Baptist Church where she sings in the Sanctuary Choir, teaches Sunday School, and serves on various committees including the Sunday School Leadership Team and Youth Committee.
Alesia, a native of Elbert County, has served as Past President of the Rotary Club of Hartwell, Past President of Hartwell Service League, and Past President and Director of the Hart County Chamber of Commerce. Alesia is married to Jim Burch, an educator currently employed with Mountain Education School System, and they have three children.
